When you have a baby , your instinct is to protect them. When your baby dies your instinct is to protect their memory.
Our memory boxes are given to parents who experience the death of a baby during pregnancy or soon after birth. These memory boxes provide a safe place to keep precious items. They include tangible and memory making items that can help to make some important memories whilst in the hospital together with others like wild meadow flower seeds that can be planted at home .
You can click on the image above to see a short video presentation by Shelley explaining about all the items in the Memory Box and the importance of being able to make precious memories in the first few days. This is made available to any parents using the Ivy Room and can be viewed here.
We also provide smaller bunnies for siblings to keep in memory of the baby they were looking forward to meeting together with a selection of books which can help them understand and manage the feelings they are experiencing.
