Miscarriage support

In 2018 the trustees decided to extend support to earlier stage losses and as part of this initiative we created bags to be gifted to parents who experienced a miscarriage.

These were made available to all GP surgeries, the MSG, A & E and relevant hospital wards.

The bags contain items which we hope will offer comfort and information on the support available, opportunities for remembrance and information on the Ivy Hearts Support Group.

During the summer of 2019 we worked with The Potting Shed to create a short video which we hope will help those parents who experience a miscarriage. You can view this below. Please do make any parents who may like to view this aware and remind them that The Ivy Trust can offer support whenever they feel ready.
